Eat your greens

It’s green and she likes it! This simple broccoli pesto was a success and boosts my daughter’s iron stores as well. Sometimes I think it’s a bit difficult to find good recipes that the little ones like, are fairly easy to make and can be kept for a few days. A few Broccoli florets Pumpkinseeds […]

cocobombs

Earlier today I posted a yummy carb-free “cocobomb” desert- That’s what my daughter decided to call them. So happy so many of you appreciated the post and wanted me to share the recipe: “COCOBOMBS” – max 10min to make! 🙂 150g coconut cream 50g coconut oil 50g cocoa butter add a little ( 1 teaspoon […]

Travel with ease

Being a person who struggles to pack a bag for a weekend get-away, now the struggle is real when traveling with baby Edie for summer holidays.

I’ve tried to figure out what’s needed and what’s not and how to make it simple, smart and organized to keep some kind of harmony.

After three destinations this summer and equally many packings and unpackings, I realized that I’m grateful that I have found a few things, in particular, to make life a bit easier.

YoYo Babyzen stroller: Love it. It’s so easy to carry with you and light in weight. Perfect for beach, city, airports and even in the cabin. I started to use this stroller more and more instead of our Bugaboo Fox, even when in town. And it works great at restaurants as it’s so slender.

Travel-seat: Perfect to carry with you wherever you go. Takes no space and simple to attach to any chair and fasten your baby in.

Soft bib: Easy to roll and pack and wash off quickly with water or wipes.

Sakura baby carrier: Simply aesthetically beautiful, nice and comfortable.

Mesh sling: Great on the beach or when you don’t want to bring the big baby carrier and want to have one free hand.

Transpatent zip-bags: From Muji or Granit to organize all small stuff, such as aspirin, baby-care, food or anything you don’t want to lay around in your suitcase or your diaper bag.

Garment cases: If you don’t use these already, you have to buy them. It makes my packing so much easier and keeps all the clothes folded and nice until you arrive at your destination. It’s great for both your own and baby clothes. And bring an extra one for dirty clothes

best in test

The first weeks after giving birth its impossible to control your boobs and their lactation habits! Breastfeeding can be a pain in tha…u know what and it doesn’t really help that your breast are “szpritzing” milk all over the place! So to help with that we have tested and tested (and leaked among crowds) different […]

Cloth diapers cover and Inner

Cloth Diapers – Yes or No?

Cloth Diapers or Disposables – No Right or Wrong I have been reluctant to write about cloth diapering because there is no right or wrong to do what feels good for your baby and sanity, but there are a lot of connotations and opinions.  Reasons can vary for why you would choose one over the other.  […]
